On what I think of as my little pathway the other side of the my field, a blackbird came jumping down and walked in front of me for quite awhile so I chatted to him. I told him how pretty he was and suddenly realised I probably wasn’t the first person to say this to him. I know blackbirds can learn to imitate so the sentence I heard the other week was probably one learnt from someone just like me, I chuckle. At the top of the path as I went round the bend I heard this chorus of baa maa meee Bahah. The whole field of black sheep were jumping up the wall and charging about, they apparently had heard the farmers car coming along to feed them it was a lovely sound and sight, I wish I had thought to get out my phone and record it! A sheep choir to go with the fly orchestra I heard recently.

I must stop eating chocolate my trousers are really tight. I feel disappointed in myself, I’m usually pretty good at keeping my diet and weight stable but at the moment I keep giving myself excuses to eat, “I’m lonely or I’ve done something useful or worthwhile so I deserve a reward”. Well today is the day it’s got to stop boo-hoo.

I am back to thinking about how to get rid of the summer clothes I don’t need, deciding to choose the ones I did want and throwing out the others didn’t work for me. As I am sat thinking I can remember some years ago deciding to put away the clothes that I wasn’t particularly wanting to wear that year, having done that I was surprised when I went back to them a couple of years later how I didn’t actually want to keep most of them, So I’ve decided to try that again. Good plan Gilli-ann!
